# Account settings
> Manage your personal identity, profile, preferences, and account security on Lovable.
You can access your account settings by going to [lovable.dev/settings/account](https://lovable.dev/settings/account) or **Workspace settings → Account.**
## LinkedIn skills (Beta)
Lovable identifies **skills** based on how you use the platform across your projects. If you have any skills, they appear in **Settings → Account**.
### How to qualify for a skill
Each skill maps to a category of app that you build in Lovable (see [Skills you can unlock](#skills-you-can-unlock) below). To unlock a skill, you need at least one project that meets **both** of these conditions:
* The project is classified in that skill's category. Lovable classifies a project automatically once you have sent **at least 5 messages** in it.
* The project's live app has **at least 20 visitor sessions**, with bot traffic excluded. Sessions add up over time and do not reset.
Accounts flagged for fraud or abuse are not eligible. Each skill is evaluated on its own, so you can unlock several.
### Skills you can unlock
There are 12 skills, each tied to a category of app. To unlock a skill, build a project that fits its category and get it to 20 visitor sessions.

| Marketplaces & Platforms | A marketplace, a booking platform, a subscription platform, or a platform or network that connects groups of users. |
| AI Tools | An AI assistant or chatbot, or an AI image or video generation tool. |
| Data Visualization & Analytics | An analytics dashboard or a management dashboard. |
| Marketing Collateral | A document or content generator, or brand assets and invitations. |
| E-commerce Development | An e-commerce storefront. Connect the [Shopify integration](/integrations/shopify) to help here. |
| Productivity Software Development | A personal tracking app, for example to track habits, tasks, or personal goals. |
| EdTech Development | A learning platform, such as a course, lesson, or study tool. |
| Sales Enablement Tools | A sales CRM or lead generation tool, or a presentation deck. |
| Games Development | A browser game. |
| FinTech Development | A financial calculator, or a trading or investing tool. |
### Add a skill to LinkedIn
You can post one skill to your LinkedIn profile. It appears under **Connected apps**, in the Lovable app's details, as a capability summarized from how you use Lovable. To share a skill:
1. Go to **Settings → Account**.
2. Find the skill you want to post.
3. Click **Add to LinkedIn** and connect your LinkedIn account.
The skill appears publicly on LinkedIn and updates automatically as your usage changes. You can disconnect at any time to remove it from LinkedIn. Only one skill can be posted to LinkedIn at a time.
The previous **Vibe coding level** is no longer supported. LinkedIn has sunset the ability to display the older vibe coding status levels, and the feature has been replaced by LinkedIn skills.
## Profile settings
Your profile is published at `lovable.dev/@`. Click the profile link to open and edit your profile page.

| Language | Choose the language Lovable uses for your account. Lovable is currently available in English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Italian, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, and Thai. Your choice is saved to your account and applied automatically when you sign in on any device. Not every part of Lovable is translated yet. |
| Profile URL
`lovable.dev/@` | Click the link to open and edit your profile page. Set your name, bio, location, website, avatar, and banner image. |
| Username | Your username is your public handle and your profile URL slug. Click **Update** to change it. Usernames are unique. If a name is taken, you'll be asked to pick another. |
| Email | The email address associated with your account. This field is **read-only**. |
| Profile visibility | Control who can see `lovable.dev/@`: - **Public** (default): Your profile is visible to everyone.
- **Private**: Your profile is hidden behind a placeholder page. Only you can view it.
Enterprise workspaces hide member profiles by default. If you belong to one, your profile isn't visible outside that workspace, even if your visibility is set to Public, and this setting is locked with the note "Profile visibility is managed by one of your workspaces." Workspace admins can make member profiles public again from [Privacy & security → Public member profiles](/features/privacy-and-security-settings#public-member-profiles). |
## Chat settings

- **Always**: Plays a sound on every generation
- **Never**: Never plays a sound

## Auto-accept invitations
By default, you are automatically added to workspaces and projects you've been invited to by email or invite link, without needing to manually accept the invitation.
Disable this setting if you want to review each invitation before accepting it.
## Linked accounts
The list of sign-in methods linked to your account. Each linked provider is shown with its email. The **Primary** badge marks the one you originally signed up with.
* **Unlink**: Removes a provider. You cannot unlink your last remaining sign-in method.
* **Link company account**: Link your organization's SSO (SAML or OIDC) to this account so you can sign in with it.
To reset the password for an email and password sign-in, use **Forgot password?** on the [sign-in page](https://lovable.dev/login). For Google, GitHub, Apple, or SSO logins, reset your password with that provider. See [Reset your password](/introduction/create-an-account#reset-your-password).
Unlinking an SSO provider may remove your access to workspaces tied to that provider.
## Two-factor authentication
Add a second factor to your sign-in:
* **Authenticator app**: Time-based one-time codes from apps like Google Authenticator, 1Password, or Authy
* **Phone (SMS)**: Codes sent to your mobile number
Click **Enable** and follow the dialog to set it up.

## Sign-in alerts
Lovable emails you when your account is signed in from both a device and a country that have not been seen on your account before. The email shows the country, the browser and operating system, the time, and the sign-in method that was used.
If the sign-in was you, no action is needed. If you do not recognize it, follow the instructions in the email to reset your password and secure your account. Because these alerts protect your account, they are always sent and are not affected by your email preferences.
## Delete account
Permanently delete your Lovable account.
For **30 days**, your account remains **recoverable**. After 30 days, your account, profile, and any data not transferred to a workspace are permanently removed.
